In the splendid atmosphere of the Villa Necchi Campiglio, the Foundation held its traditional Annual Meeting: keynote speaker, Alan Krueger, Former Chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisor and Bendheim Professor of Economics and Public Policy at Princeton University. Professor Krueger addressed a new phenomenon in the employment dynamics, the Gig Economy.
The following speaker, Professor Annamaria Lusardi, Academic Director of GFLEC and member of the Scientific Technical Committee of the Global Thinking Foundation discussed about the gender implications of financial literacy. Finally, Magda Bianco, Head of Consumer Protection and Anti Money-Laundering Department at the Bank of Italy, Anna Maria Ajello, President of INVALSI and Lisa Krueger, Math and Financial Literacy Education Consultant, debated regarding the different approaches to financial literacy in Italy and the United States.
