Global Thinking Foundation strongly supports the Project “I Fuoriclasse della Scuola”, throughout 25 scholarships dedicated to the memory of Angelo Chiodi for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 editions.
The project started as part of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Fondazione per L’educazione Finanziaria al Risparmio, the Ministry of Education and the University and Research and has been realized with the collaboration of the Savings Museum (Turin) – which will host the winners for a two-day campus in Turin – and with the support of the Italian Banking Association (ABI) and Confindustria.
The recipients of the scholarships are students of the last three years of secondary schools, winners of the MIUR’s Olympic Games in Astronomy, Chemistry, Philosophy, Physics, Computer Science, Italian, Languages and Classic Studies, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, the winners of Economia and New Design competitions and the winners of the National Competition for students of professional institutes and for students of technical institutes.
In these 3 years the project has achieved important results: 155 scholarships have been awrded awarded, 45 in 2016, 44 in 2017 and 66 in 2018, for a total of 237 thousand euro donated.
The project, which, in the first edition of 2016, received the Golden Medal from the President of the Italian Republic, wants to grow up a generation of excellent and aware people who develop, alongside high-level economic and technical skills, sensitivity towards topics such as legality and economic in order to share their experiences in favour of the community.
