“Sport seeks fear in order to dominate it, fatigue in order to triumph and difficulty in order to overcome it”

Global Thinking Foundation (GLT) was born with the mission of promoting financial education, addressing mainly women and vulnerable groups of our society. The Foundation’s commitment is aimed at supporting a culture of conscious savings and the value of money for the economic sustainability of families and economic growth, supporting the global objectives of Agenda 2030 including Goal 8.
Since 2019, Global Thinking Foundation has complemented its educational mission with a concrete commitment to the world of sport, supporting women’s teams and sports organizations united by the goal of promoting inclusion, equal opportunities, and social well-being. Sport is, in fact, an extraordinary tool for preventing discrimination and gender-based violence, challenging stereotypes, and fostering personal and economic independence.
This experience has led to the development of educational programs, scholarships, awareness-raising initiatives in schools, and projects dedicated to athletes, including Paralympic athletes. It has also inspired cultural and film initiatives addressing issues such as discrimination in sport, economic violence, and the risks associated with sports betting. At the same time, the Foundation promotes social reintegration pathways through senior sports activities for women who have embarked on a journey to overcome domestic violence, supported by former athletes who, through their example and civic engagement, serve as genuine ambassadors of equality, respect, and the fight against all forms of violence.
From this shared commitment to common values emerges an empowerment model that views sport not only as a competitive activity, but also as an educational, cultural, and social driver capable of strengthening personal, relational, and economic skills, while contributing to the creation of more inclusive and resilient communities built upon:
