Mission

Global Thinking Foundation’s mission is to promote a culture of economic citizenship among poor students, families and savers, supporting the Global Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. In particular, the Foundation implements and/or identifies projects aimed at increasing the degree of social and economic inclusion in the country, thanks also to collaborations with institutions and private entities.
Each initiative is presented to and examined by the Board of Directors and subsequently reviewed by the Technical and Scientific Committee.

OBJECTIVES FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL INCLUSION

NO POVERTY

Alongside our commitment to defeating educational poverty, as a process that limits children’s rights to education and deprives them of the skills they need to succeed in a constantly changing world, where educational and economic poverty are two reality closely related

QUALITY OF EDUCATION

The Foundation pays special attention towards students, as future investors and savers, who look for suitable guides through the intricate web of today’s financial world. The Global Thinking Foundation helps and supports talented, less fortunate students to pursue professional and academic courses in the economic and financial sector: it offers scholarships, lectures and didactic materials. Scholarships are assigned according to precise criteria, decided by the Board. These parameters include:

– the GPA of the candidate
– the candidate’s family income
– the number of children within the candidate’s household
– other criteria established by the Board, following the Foundation’s Chart

GENDER EQUALITY

In order to offer equal opportunities to women and help victims of physical and psychological abuses, the Foundation strongly promotes a culture of prevention and support to fight against violence, especially economic violence.

In several cases, women are not ( partially or fully ) allowed the access to the family’s financial resources, severely limiting their independence. Ostracised and isolated, the victims loose social and professional ties. Economic violence involves, but is not limited to, the illicit repossession of income, the impossibility to access joint bank accounts.

The Global Thinking Foundation offers its resources to support the victims and to give an opportunity for freedom: entrepreneurial and family budget courses, informative publications and events are only few of the activities that the Foundation has established to reach this Goal.

DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

The Global Thinking Foundation promotes good practices for sustainable economic growth.

These projects are established through a careful analysis along with an accurate and innovative research. The Foundation has created several online tools to promote economic competencies, in order to spread a responsible management of savings.

These tools aim to fill the gaps in financial, economic and insurance knowledge, leading the individual to understand his or her objective capabilities.

Responsable and informed citizens are the key to improve the economic and sustainable growth of the Country.
